Hinterland Volunteers
Vigodent has entered into a partnership with the Voluntários do Sertão organization, which provides medical and dental care, minor surgery, lectures and distributes health and personal hygiene kits.
Its aim is to promote social assistance, health, food and nutritional security and to promote volunteering by monitoring indicators of social transformation. The action is annual and the team of volunteers is made up of doctors of various specialties, dentists, nurses, psychologists, pilots, cooks, drivers, administrative assistants and people of good will, led by specialists in their respective fields.
Empreeduca
With the intention of helping to train and employ young people without formal jobs, Vigodent collaborates with the Empreduca Project, whose purpose is to identify, develop and connect young people from the peripheries to exclusive job opportunities.
Currently, 31% of young people aged between 18 and 25 are without a formal job. Based on this age profile and the objectives of the young people, the project connects them to vacancies offered by employer partners.
Smile for Life
Vigodent understands that each patient has specific needs for dental treatment and is therefore a supporter of the Instituto Sorrir para Vida (Smile for Life Institute), an initiative that seeks to bring access to oral health to all, through appropriate dental treatment for cancer patients and those with special needs.
With a history of success, the Institute has more than 25 volunteer dental surgeons on its clinical team. In 2022 alone, 2,796 visits were carried out.
